Cavity Fixings
Fixings specifically designed for use in drywalls and plasterboard.
Plasterboard fixings are designed to work with plasterboard or dry-walling to provide a secure and long-lasting fixing. Plasterboard anchors are robust enough to support the weight of a plasterboard, and are quick and easy to insert. The range includes different sizes from well-known brands such as Fischer PDM100.
The Wall-Dog is an all steel, one piece, threaded fastener, which is used to fasten various fixtures directly to drywall. Wall-Dog fasteners are fast. Unlike conventional screw anchors, which require the secondary step of threading a sheet metal screw into an anchor, the Wall-Dog is installed directly through the fixture into the drywall.
Spit Hollow Wall Anchor Pre-assembled Cavity Fixing, uses a setting tool to lock the fixing into the base material, typically plasterbaord. This allows the fixture to be removed and refit with the removal of the screw. The fixing comes preassembled with the screw.
Spring toggles have spring loaded arms that once pushed through the hole in the base material, typically plasterboard, spring out providing something to pull against. They are available with or without screws.
