Decking Wedges

A basic V shaperd wedge nut for the fitting into the slots of a variety of composite floor deckings.

The Alpha Wedge is designed to lock quickly and securely into the re-entrant channel of Alphalok or Ribdeck E60 decking to enable the suspension of all types of building services using threaded rod. The product consists of two parts, a wedge and a plate. The wedge can be tapped to accommodate threaded road sizes M6, M8 or M10, whilst the plate fits over the wedge to lock the assembly securely into the decking.

The Multiwedge enables quick and easy suspension of building services from Multideck 60 and Multideck 80 profiles manufactured by Kingspan Structural Products. The Multiwedge enables quick and easy suspension of building services from Ward Building Components steel/concreate floor decking. No skilled labour is needed for installation or any special tooling. Once the fixing has been inserted into the re-entrant channel of the decking it can be laterally adjusted before the final tightening. The 'multi-nut' can be tapped to accommodate threaded rod size M6, M8 or M10.

Ideal for the suspension of building services, the TR60 is designed for specific use with the SMD TR60 and TR80 decking profile. Once the wedge has been inserted into the re-entrant channel of the decking the plate can be locked into position.

The Type MF is designed for Metfloor 60 & Metfloor 80 decking profiles to enable the suspension of all types of building services using threaded rod. The products consists of two parts, the Met-Nut and a plate. The Met-Nut can be tapped to accommodate threaded rod sizes M6, M8 or M10, whilst the plate fits over the Met-Nut to lock the assembly securely into the decking.

The Lindapter AMD decking fixing is designed to be inserted into AMD60 and AMD80 decking profiles, manufactured by Anglian Metal Decking, to support the electrical and mechanical services using threaded rod or any other threaded fixing such as eye bolts. Although the AMD decking fixing is similar in appearance to the Type AW wedge, it should not be used with Hare Decking profiles.

The Lindapter Toggle Clamp is designed for service suspension from pre-cast hollow core slabs (minimum depth of core 75mm) as well as SHS, steel sheeting or purlins.
