Fire Resistant Cable Clips & Cleats
Fire resistant clips and cleats for securing cables. Nail in clips are available for small diameter cables whilst calble cleats are able to handle larger diameter cables and can be secured using Tapcon concrete screws.
Metal cable tidy for high mechanical stability, even in the case of fire. Also approved as a cable-specific variant for the maintenance of electrical functions to DIN 4102 Part 12. Suitable for safe mounting above fire protection ceilings. Lock can be opened without tools.
Firefly Clips are used with plastic trunking to provide a secondary means of holding the cable to a surface, with a masonry screw, in the event of a fire and the failure of the trunking. They prevent the cables from falling and entangling fire fighters and other first responders. Being spring loaded they are easy to install and remove and have a melting point more than 1000°C.
Firefly all metal cable, powder coated, cleats allow the secure fixing of cables from small diameter data cables to large 50mm diameter cable. Available with either a standard round fixing hole or a keyhole, allowing the screw to be fixed before the clip is attached. These cable cleats should be fixed to the substrate without using a plastic plug, so the use of Tapcon concrete screws is recommended.
Firefly Push Grip Cable Clips are suitable for very small diameter cables, simply drill either a 3 or 4mm hole depending on cable size and push the clip into the hole with the cable hooked by the clip. Clips should be spaced every 150mm and no more the 300mm.
Linian Fire Clips are single piece fire rate cable clips that are 18th Edition Compliant. Manufactured from steel with a melting point in excess of 1000oC, these fire clips ensure cables and conduits remain securely attached to the building substrate in the event of a fire. Installation is simple, drill a hole into the building substrate, slide the clip over the cable, compress the clip and insert into the hole. Can be installed into brickwork, concrete, masonry, wood studs and wood beams. What's more all Linian Fire Clips are made in Britain!
Firefly Multi Hold clips are used for the holding of temporary cabling such as festoon lighting whilst still providing a fire safe environment.
