Hexagon Head Bolts
Hexagon headed bolts have part of the shank threaded and part plain, unlike set screws that are threaded up to the head. We stock high tensile bolts with either a zinc or galvanised plating.
High tensile bolts are manufactured from 8.8 grade steel, they are then zinc plated to provide a level of corrosion resistance. Bolts are only part threaded up their shank, the length of the threading is dependent on the overall length of the fastener. See our guide on Metric bolts for more information.
